    Chelli Soto brings over 20 years of dedicated service and leadership to the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, the community she proudly calls home. Throughout her career, she has been a passionate advocate, working tirelessly to uplift families, support local initiatives, and create meaningful opportunities for growth and connection.

    With extensive leadership experience, Chelli has guided community programs, organized impactful initiatives, and collaborated closely with fellow community leaders, council members, and local stakeholders to address neighborhood needs and drive positive change. Known for her integrity, compassion, and hands-on approach, she has built lasting relationships and a strong reputation for getting things done. Her two decades of service reflect a deep commitment to strengthening Bedford-Stuyvesant and creating a positive, lasting impact for generations to come.

    Yasmi Orane is our dedicated Community Organizer with the Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Partnership, where she has spent the past five years strengthening connections between residents, local organizations, and public resources. In her role, Yasmi has supported community-led initiatives focused on neighborhood stability, civic engagement, and equitable access to services. Her work centers on building trust, uplifting resident voices, and creating collaborative spaces where community members can actively shape solutions for Bed-Stuy’s most pressing needs.

    Yasmi’s dedication to community work is rooted in her experience working directly with neighborhood residents through outreach, organizing, and support services. Prior to her current role, she collaborated closely with community members to address local challenges, develop leadership capacity, and strengthen collective action. This background continues to inform her work today, grounding her organizing in empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep respect for the lived experiences of the Bedford-Stuyvesant community.

    Will Arenas is a Brooklyn-Native who has volunteered with the BedStuy Community Partnership team for the last 3 years to help serve the community.

    Natherlene Bolden is a Brooklyn-resident who has been a part of the BedStuy Community Partnership team for the last 4 years. Ms. Bolden is a community advocate who serves the community because she is her community.

At Bedford Stuyvesant Community Partnership Program, we continuously provide resources and referrals to the families in the community. We play a vital role in building healthy communities by providing critical services that contribute to economic stability and the mobility of Bedford Stuyvesant. we strengthen our community in other important ways. By having food distributions- school supplies, referrals to mental health and physical health resources.
